What Is Lalal.ai?
LALAL.AI specializes in one task: separating audio tracks into individual stems. Upload a song and get the vocals, drums, bass, guitar, and other instruments as separate files.
What We Like
The separation quality is genuinely impressive — especially for vocals. In our testing, extracted vocal tracks were clean enough for remix use with minimal artifacts. The AI handles complex mixes well, even separating overlapping instruments with reasonable accuracy. Processing is fast, and the web interface requires no technical setup.
What Could Be Better
Heavily compressed or low-quality source files produce worse results. Very dense mixes with many overlapping instruments still show some bleed between stems. The free tier only processes short clips, which is not enough to evaluate whether the tool works for your specific audio.
Pricing
Free tier with limited processing (10 minutes). Lite at $15 for 90 minutes of processing (one-time). Plus at $30 for 300 minutes. Premier at $50 for 600 minutes. All plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
